Following the Light

Let’s talk about sunflowers.

You ever notice how sunflowers are always looking for the light? Even when the sky’s a little gray, they find a way to tilt their faces toward the sun. They don’t sit around waiting for perfect weather—they just keep turning toward whatever light they can find.

That’s a vibe, isn’t it?

Life throws a lot of clouds our way. Storms, shadows, all the stuff that makes us want to curl up and wait for better days. But maybe we could take a lesson from the sunflower. Maybe instead of waiting for the perfect moment, we just find whatever light we can and lean into it.

And here’s the cool thing about sunflowers: they don’t chase the light—they trust it. They know it’s out there, even when they can’t see it. They don’t freak out when the sun sets or when the clouds roll in. They just stand tall, grounded in their roots, and wait for the light to come back.

So, where’s your light today? Maybe it’s a kind word from a friend, a hot cup of coffee, or even just the fact that you made it through another day. Whatever it is, find it. Lean into it. Trust that it’s there, even if it feels a little dim right now.

And remember: you’re not just looking for the light—you’re growing toward it.

Peace, petals, and sunlit vibes,
Buddhi
